Though we encourage continuous learning for maximum benefits, we understand that occasionally we all need a break. Whether you are going on an extended vacation or your schedule simply gets overwhelmed, just let us know. Vacation forms are available at the center.
Please note, you must provide a full calendar month notice to ensure that your account will not be charged for your break.
Also, Kumon’s corporate policy stipulates a student can be absent one month in a calendar year. An absence longer than 1 month will result in the loss of accumulated points. Upon return, the student will also need to pay a registration fee of $50.

How do I transfer to another center?
Though Kumon centers provide the same Kumon programs, each center is individually owned and operated. If you wish to transfer to another center, you must provide the proper termination notice to our center. If you continue the Kumon program at another center within 1 month, you will not have to re-register.
How do I quit?
Written notice must be provided one full calendar month prior to termination of any subject(s). As Kumon tuition is charged monthly, due at the beginning of each month, termination notice must be provided one full month before the month you wish to quit.

Termination forms are available at the center. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a tuition charge or loss of deposit.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Kumon is not a "quick fix" program. Our focus is helping students build up their foundation skills and work habits so they have the tools to succeed. This takes time to achieve and results cannot be gauged in a matter of weeks. Our center asks for a 6 month commitment from students and parents. This allows student a real opportunity to benefit from their Kumon studies.
How/when do I get my deposit back?
The deposit is returned when the student quits Kumon after fulfilling the following conditions:
- Continuous enrollment for at least 6 months.
- Provided one full calendar month termination notice.
- Returned all center materials (answer books, library books, student ID tag).
- Cleared all other charges.
